Position overview: This role will focus on compiling and analyzing exploration performance metrics and results, synthesizing exploration data, and preparing detailed reports and presentations for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board. The ideal candidate will have a geology background, with experience in corporate development or investment banking at the analyst level. Additionally, they will play a key role in assisting with due diligence for corporate development opportunities and ensuring seamless communication across departments and within the team.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $110,000-$115,000 range. The salary range is a good-faith estimate. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Compile and assist with tracking performance metrics, budgeting, financials, and exploration results to support key business decisions.
- Report Creation: Develop and prepare professional reports that highlight critical insights for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board.
- Presentations: Create impactful presentations that summarize key exploration findings, trends, and data to be presented at board meetings and leadership reviews.
- Visualization: Design and create graphs, charts, and Gantt charts to communicate exploration data in an easily digestible format.
- Synthesize Exploration Data: Analyze and synthesize exploration data to provide actionable insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
- Due Diligence Support: Assist with due diligence processes for corporate development opportunities, including gathering and analyzing relevant exploration and geological data.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Ensure seamless communication with other departments to gather necessary data and support corporate development and strategic goals.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and track performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in exploration geology, with experience in corporate development or investment banking highly preferred.
- Proven experience in data analysis, with a focus on exploration or related fields.
- Experience in corporate development, investment banking, or a similar role, preferably at the analyst level.
- Strong proficiency in creating professional reports and presentations tailored to senior executives.
- Expertise in designing graphs, charts, and Gantt charts to communicate complex data.
- Familiarity with marketing, branding, and how they intersect with exploration activities and data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to present data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize large sets of data into key insights.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data to inform strategic decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master's) in Geology or related field.
- Experience in precious or base metals exploration, particularly in North America.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional team leadership.
