Operations Research Analyst

Description:
The candidate will provide expert advice and analytical support for data collection/ management, performance management/measurement, and organizational assessment efforts through the use of operations research analysis processes, techniques, methods, tools, and programs. Additionally, the candidate shall provide and support strategic and operational level analysis of Agency and DoD-wide strategy, policy, doctrine, decisions, trends, concepts, and studies. Further, the candidate will provide expert advice and guidance regarding the establishment, management, and execution of a formal Agency Assessment framework and support day-to-day office activities such as organizing and facilitating meetings and managing information systems.
In terms of product development, the candidate will prepare, present, and defend professional written evaluations and reports for supervisor and senior leaders within the Agency, and summarize, synthesize, and clearly communicate complex analyses in simplified terms.
Experience: Expert knowledge and practical experience conducting studies/research/ and assessments through utilization of operations research analysis. Proven team leader/member working with groups internal and external to an organization tasked to develop solutions to complex problems where initial source or research data are typically inadequate, inappropriate, or lacking.
Education: 10+ years of experience in Operations Research Analysis, including: providing expert advice and analytical support for data collection/management, performance management/measurement, and organizational assessment efforts. BS required, but MS/PhD preferred. Experience with the client's CWMD mission space is a plus.
