The University of Arizona Department of Philosophy is searching for an eminent scholar to be Full Professor specializing in moral, political and legal philosophy and research in related areas, such as moral and political rights, political legitimacy, legal punishment, and immigration, beginning in Fall 2025. The Department of Philosophy invites applications from candidates with successful research programs who are committed to excellence in graduate and undergraduate teaching. We seek individuals who will promote interdisciplinary education and research; the successful applicant will also be a core faculty member in the Center for the Philosophy of Freedom.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Undergraduate and graduate teaching,
- three courses a year(contingent on affiliation with the Center),
- expected to maintain an activeprogram of research
- provide service to the department, college,university, the Center, and profession.
