Senior Plumbing Engineer

- Report existing conditions and construction progress.
- Perform and direct others in collecting project data.
- Perform and direct project design, such as performing calculations, using design software and referencing appropriate engineering resources.
- Performs and direct the preparation of project documents including specifications and bid documents, and ensuring accuracy of the bid package
- Perform and direct drawing reviews, ensuring the plans are clear, concise, and thorough
- Understand internal/external customer needs and expectations and seek areas of improvement to customer service.
- Perform and direct external communications, including calls and preparing correspondence to clients, officials, and contractors.
- Prepare reports, studies and proposals.
- Ensure shop drawings are in compliance with bid documents.
- Handle project budgeting by translating tasks into estimated hours.
- Responsible for meeting and tracking budgets and schedules.
- Contribute suggestions on business development and follows up on qualifying leads.
- Report leads to market sector leaders.
- Work with market sector leaders to maintain good client relations.
- Write and prepare project proposals, journal articles, etc.
- Performsother duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
- Four-year engineering degree
- P.E. license
- 10+ years of design experience
- Understanding of basic financial terms and concepts as they apply to projects
- Ability to work well in a team and act as a leader
- Ability to lift 15 lbs as needed
