The Position: The Marketing Support Director leads a national team responsible for supporting the entire property marketing operation. This role focuses on project management, property onboarding and offboarding, process optimization, and scaling the best practices to enhance marketing impact and efficiency. The Director oversees the marketing ticketing system and helpdesk, ensuring timely issue resolution and resource allocation. Additionally, they manage workflows within Monday.com and lead quarterly marketing audits to assess and refine processes for optimal performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Marketing Associates across the national portfolio, providing guidance, training, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the marketing support function, ensuring seamless onboarding and offboarding of properties, standardized processes, and optimized efficiencies.
  • Manage the marketing ticketing system and helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution, trend analysis, and process improvements to enhance property-level support.
  • Identify, document, and scale best practices to drive operational efficiencies, enhance marketing execution, and maximize impact across the portfolio.
  • Conduct and oversee quarterly marketing audits to evaluate processes, identify gaps, and implement improvements to enhance marketing effectiveness and consistency.
  • Utilize Monday.com to manage projects, track workflows, and improve cross-functional coordination.
  • Collaborate with operations, leasing, and marketing teams to align support functions with business needs and ensure marketing effectiveness at the property level.
  • Analyze support trends and performance metrics to drive continuous improvements, optimize workflows, and proactively address common challenges.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring the marketing support team is a strategic partner in achieving business goals.


Qualifications

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Experience may substitute for education
  • Seven years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or role within the property management or real estate industry
  • Experience managing a marketing team and overseeing multi-property marketing initiatives
  • Knowledge of residential property management marketing strategies, including digital, print, and social media marketing
  • Knowledge of real estate market dynamics, leasing trends, and resident demographics
  • Skilled in CRM platforms, property management systems, and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media platforms, etc.)
  • Skilled in leadership and team development with the ability to effectively mentor and support marketing associates
  • Skilled in analytics and strategic thinking, with the ability to interpret market data and apply insights to optimize marketing performance
  • Skilled in project management and organizational, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to problem solve and navigate complex business challenges, resolve campaign performance issues, and adapt strategies to changing market trends
  • Ability to make independent strategic decisions regarding marketing initiatives that impact leasing performance and operational success
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, leasing, and asset management teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives
  • Ability to measure and report on marketing return on investment (ROI) and make data-driven recommendations for improvements

Physical Requirements:
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:
  • This role is eligible for remote work; however, the ideal arrangement is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 3 days per week.
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions
