Overview

Assembly is hiring a Senior Manager for our North America Insights & Connections team. The Senior Manager, Insights & Connections will drive the development and execution of data-driven media strategies for clients. This person's primary responsibility will be to work on a major running and fitness brand. This person will also work across a handful of smaller accounts and receive hands-on learning and direction from their manager. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver insights, build compelling narratives, and ensure alignment between client goals and media plans. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Media Development:
  • Support the creation of media plans that integrate consumer insights, cultural trends, and business objectives to drive impactful strategies. Analyze consumer mindsets, identify key triggers and barriers, and craft strategic statements that guide cohesive communication experiences across all channels.
  • Client & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with account, activation, creative, and analytics teams to ensure the cohesive execution of integrated strategies, that align with the brand's narrative and goals. Build intra-agency relationships to gain exposure to disciplines and learn how comms strategies come to life across different clients and categories
  • Storytelling & Insights:
  • Synthesize consumer insights and data into clear, compelling narratives that inspire creative thinking and shape media strategies. Develop and present engaging presentations that bring ideas and plans to life, leveraging PowerPoint, infographics, one-pagers, and other formats to clearly communicate strategic recommendations.
  • Idea Creation &Thought Leadership:
  • Support brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and drive creative idea-led solutions for client campaigns. Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies and cultural shifts to inform and inspire team strategies and contribute to internal and external thought leadership initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience and understands the fundamentals of comms planning and strategy.
  • Confidence & Communication: You're comfortable speaking up in meetings, sharing ideas in brainstorms, and leading conversations with clarity
  • Curiosity & Eagerness to Learn: Always exploring new ideas and trends, you dig deep into interesting topics and bring fresh insights that inspire new strategies.
  • Creative & Innovative Thinker: You approach challenges with a creative mindset, asking the right questions and generating inspiring, bold, and innovative ideas that stay ahead of culture and push boundaries.
  • Storytelling & Narrative Building: You can take complex data and turn it into a clear, compelling story that aligns with strategy and resonates with audiences. Can create visually engaging dynamic presentations
  • Research & Data Mastery: You are comfortable with analyzing data to distill strategic insights. Bonus: experience or familiarity in designing and analyzing custom research data or familiarity with syndicated data platforms e.g., MRI, YouGov, Helixa, etc.)
  • Collaboration & Team Spirit: A natural team player, you thrive in collaborative environments and bring people together to spark new ideas.

Compensation (Text Only)

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $77,760- 95,000USD. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
