Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care for critical medical conditions and perform emergency surgeries with precision and compassion.
- Work alongside a skilled and dedicated team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver high-quality care in urgent situations.
- Collaborate with partner hospitals to ensure the highest standards of care and the integration of best practices across the network.
- Maintain clear communication with pet owners, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, and progress in a compassionate manner.
- Ensure that the hospital consistently meets AAHA standards of care and fosters a culture of excellence.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing life-saving care and have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency and critical care veterinary medicine.
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and perform emergency surgeries.
- Excellent communication skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Experience with exotic animals is a plus, and a willingness to further your knowledge in this area is encouraged.
- A commitment to high standards of patient care, client education, and a collaborative work environment.
