Job Summary:

The FP&A Senior Analyst is responsible for monthly lender reporting, quarterly reporting and creating projections for loan covenants and cash flows. This position addresses deadlines and a multitude of financial activities including stakeholder reporting and financial modeling and requires proven analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. This position will report to the Vice President FP&A.

Duties and Functions:
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality, timely reports for investors and lenders, including quarterly reports, ad-hoc performance updates, and financial statements.
  • Calculate current and projected financial covenants for loan positions on all fund assets.
  • Create a cash flow projection model for owned assets to assist Portfolio and Asset Management teams with capital and liquidity planning.
  • Manage compliance submissions to lenders for owned assets.
  • Support projects for building Finance dashboards for assessing performance of multiple functions in the organization.
  • Build financial models for estimating asset-level returns and determining the most accretive timing for exiting an asset.
  • Analyze financial statements and data to support leverage levels, valuation analysis and investment decision-making.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Understanding of financial concepts and metrics related to private equity.
  • Prior experience in building and maintaining financial models for private equity firms or portfolio companies.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to adhere to closing schedule and deadlines.
  • Good communication (verbal and written), organization and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional project management skills. Effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments.
  • High degree of initiative and ability to work effectively in teams or independently.
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers. Collaborative approach with business partners at all levels of the organization.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance and reporting roles.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge or experience using PowerBI is an advantage.
  • Domain experience of real estate/hospitality industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience in automations using Excel VBA, Python or AI tools is an advantage.
