Position Overview
The Senior SCADA Engineer will lead the design and implementation of advanced SCADA systems using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform, ensuring seamless integration with Allen Bradley PLCs and OPC UA communication. You'll collaborate across departments to analyze processes, develop innovative solutions, and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a strong technical background, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

About the Role - You will:
- Design, develop, maintain, configure, monitor, and backup of SCADA systems using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and implement effective SCADA solutions.
- Conduct thorough process analysis to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
- Maintain and troubleshoot SCADA system integrations with manufacturing devices (PLCs, OPC UA, etc.)
- Ensure high standards of SCADA system performance and reliability.
- Develop communications with edge systems using protocols such as MQTT
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship peers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance our SCADA capabilities.
- Manage and maintain the configuration SCADA systems
- Develop documentation and SOPs for SCADA systems
- Other duties as assigned by manager
About You:

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with Inductive Automation's Ignition platform (5+ years preferred).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or BS related fields + 3yrs relevant experience in SCADA manufacturing systems Or 5+ yrs relevant experience in industry developing and maintaining SCADA systems
- Core Certified in Ignition (Gold Certified preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Proficiency in OPC UA (Kepware preferred) and SCADA development.
- Knowledge of industry systems including MQTT, SQL (MSSQL), and various PLC technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working with manufacturing and operators to develop documentation and SOPs for SCADA systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of systems to communicate with industry devices (Node-Red, etc.)
