ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The Department of Pediatrics at UTMB is seeking a highly motivated and qualified physician to join our academic faculty to deliver exceptional clinical care to pediatric patients with kidney diseases. Primary clinical responsibilities include providing comprehensive services for children with renal diseases in our outpatient and inpatient services at our Galveston Island and Clear Lake campuses. Additionally, this position involves teaching pediatric residents and medical students. Opportunities for clinical, translational, and health services research exist for the interested candidate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate should be a graduate of an approved medical school, pediatric residency and a fellowship training program in pediatric nephrology and have a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Board eligible or board certified in pediatric nephrology.
