Title: People & Culture Business Partner (Human Resources Business Partner)

Reporting to: Chief People Officer

Location: United States (Remote, East Coast hours)

Position Summary

Grand Circle Corporation is the leader in international travel, adventure and discovery for Americans aged 50+. At the heart of our success is Grand Circle's Traveler Relations Center (TRC). The TRC is a call center comprised of two teams- Inbound Sales and Customer Service. TRC associates are primarily remote across the U.S.

We are searching for a People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner to support the TRC. The P&C Business Partner will work closely with business leaders and management to design and deploy human capital strategies that improve TRC business performance, foster a positive work culture, and align with the organization's mission, vision, and goals. This role requires a proactive, strategic approach to People & Culture while being hands-on to address day-to-day people challenges and ensure the organization's talent needs are met.

This role is essential in shaping a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence while ensuring the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent while staying true to our values.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic P&C Partnership:
    • Partner with leadership to develop and implement P&C strategies that drive business goals and employee performance.
    • Provide expert P&C guidance and counsel to management on organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, employee onboarding, career pathing and talent management.
  • Talent Management:
    • Collaborate with leadership on succession planning and talent development initiatives.
    • Assist in identifying high-potential employees and designing development plans to build leadership capacity.
    • Support employee performance management and the development of strategies for employee retention.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
    • Foster a positive organizational culture through employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs for remote employees.
    • Coach managers and employees on handling complex employee relations matters, performance issues, and conflicts.
    • Ensure proper engagement and recognition of remote associates.
  • P&C Programs & Policies:
    • Support the development and implementation of P&C programs, policies, and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws and regulations.
    • Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and performance management processes.
  • Data-Driven Insights:
    • Utilize P&C analytics and metrics to provide insights on workforce trends and recommend data-driven solutions for talent management, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on P&C activities and business impact.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify and address training and development needs in alignment with business goals.
    • Design and implement Learning and Development programs that provide career advancement pathways and build leadership capabilities and skills.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certifications (SHRM-SCP, PHR) a plus.
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a Business Partner role.
    • Experience managing or acting as HRBP to remote teams required.
    • Management or HR experience in a call center environment required.
    • This position is remote and requires candidates to be located in one of the following states: CT, FL, GA, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, NC, PA, RI, SC, or VA
