Description:
As a Senior Plant Manager you will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all activities of assigned manufacturing Plant. Responsibilities include safety, environmental, quality, production, cost control and leadership of the Plant workforce.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direction, ensure resources, and manage programs to ensure the plant's safety and environmental performance meets established goals
- Develop and implement plans to reduce waste, meet applicable regulatory standards and handles emergency situations that may arise at the Site
- Develop a plant operating plan that is consistent with and supports the business plan
- Determine what resources are required to implement the operating plan and then secure them
- Ensure standards for product quality, equipment and operator performance are established, maintained and improved & that cost-effective technology is used to maximize production
- Develop capital plan to improve plant operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline
- At least ten years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience, with at least seven years of experience supervising multiple departments
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing operations and safety procedures
- Demonstrated experience with success in managing a safe and environmentally sound work environment
- Prior experience with Process Safety Management
- Prior experience in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Solvent-based coatings, Heavy manufacturing (Coatings/Chemicals) background, preferred
