THE OPPORTUNITY

This position is responsible for overseeing loan officers and loan processors in the execution of their duties, which include sourcing loan and deposit opportunities, negotiating and issuing term sheets, gathering appropriate information; performing analysis, due diligence, underwriting of proposed loan requests, requesting and reviewing loan documentation and entity documents, file maintenance, compliance, and audit readiness. This position will supervise or take the lead in reviewing initial borrower submissions, and analysis of information submitted. Assist in structuring and guiding credit requests through credit administration. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

  • Oversee the development and execution of a sound, aggressive and controlled program of business development and retention for the team you supervise that supports executive management philosophies, policies and goals.
  • Direct and monitor results from a team of lenders and support staff.
  • Ensure team's activity is consistent with Bank's compliance and audit programs.
  • Generate new loans consistent with Bank underwriting standards.
  • Ensure that strong relationships with existing customers continue and that their needs are met.
  • Advise senior management of changes in the market place.
  • Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counseling.
  • Manage, support, coach and train staff.

  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • A minimum of seven or more years lending/credit experience is required
  • At least three or more years of experience managing three or more people is required
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and/or relevant work experience
  • CPA or MBA is preferred
  • Strong analytical and communication skills required, together with an entrepreneurial work ethic
  • Ability to travel for client visits and other meetings as needed
  • Proficient with Word and Excel

SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
