The Role

In this customer facing role, you will enjoy interacting with others and building relationships, be a key stakeholder for the operations team to compile all models, and work across all market sectors. The Virtual Design & Construction Project Manager will be responsible for VDC efforts related to BIM clash coordination, reality capture, manage projects from the VDC side and training. In this role, you will be required to go to job-sites which may potentially be outside of Phoenix. This opportunity can be hybrid with 3 days required in the office.

What you will accomplish

• Oversee and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders throughout the design and construction phases.
• Review and verify systems, ensuring alignment with project drawings.
• Lead and facilitate large Zoom meetings for on-site coordination and communication.
• Address and resolve issues that arise on the job site efficiently.
• Ensure continuous coordination of model-based design and perform clash detection throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Review and interpret contract language, ensuring proper document management and compliance.

What we would like you to have

• 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry with the majority being spent in VDC.
• Proficient in BIM Software: Revit & Navisworks or Revizto and PM Software: Procore or similar.
• Ideally will have experience with reality capture tools- Total Stations, lazer scanners or point clouds
• Experienced in managing RFI submittals and associated documentation.
• Skilled in using reality capture tools, including 360 cameras, drones, and laser scanners.
• In-depth understanding of construction processes, including the installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
