OUR IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR POSITION
The IT Systems Administrator processes new account onboarding/offboarding requests, maintains Office 365 environments, maintains Active Directory Group Policies and equipment inventories and other systems oversight tasks. The IT Systems Administrator also responds to Charles E. Smith Life Communities associate phone, email and IT ticketing system requests for support to resolve computer, application, system, device, access or performance issues, primarily with requests that are escalated above Tier 1. The IT Systems Administrator assesses and diagnoses computer hardware and software problems and implements effective solutions. Documents incidents using help desk systems/tools. Supports installs or upgrades of software or devices, set-up user profiles, and re-sets passwords. Fulfills all service level standards for response time and quality. The IT Systems Administrator also provides basic computer training, modifies hardware systems, installs computer peripherals, and performs basic computer maintenance and upgrades.

VACCINATION POLICY
As a dedicated provider to Senior Living Care our facility requires all hired associates to provide proof of vaccination records, including two doses of MMR, two doses of Varicella, and a Negative TB screen before the start of employment. Another source of documentation that can be accepted is a Titer or Lab test that expresses proven immunity to the following diseases. Upon employment our Talent Acquisition team will provide additional details regarding CESLC vaccination policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages Office 365 application configurations.
- Assists with VMware environment.
- Assists with systems documentation.
- Assists with data backup reviews and configurations.
- Responds to associate support requests escalated above Tier 1.
- Occasionally works help desk when help desk technicians are on PTO or the job position is vacant.
- Provides support in person, over the phone, or via remote access.
- Diagnoses issues with computer software, peripherals, and hardware.
- Runs software diagnostic tools and physically inspects hardware systems.
- Talks associates through basic problem-solving processes.
- Provides new user orientation, basic computer training and basic training on Microsoft Office products.
- Installs and upgrades hardware and software systems.
- Administers/manages VIPRE anti-virus.
- Creates and administers Active Directory user accounts and group memberships.
- Assists with Group Policy configurations.
- Performs new software installations, updates and routine system backups.
- Performs new user configuration and mailbox setups using Office 365.
- Follows up with associates, provides feedback and sees problems through to resolution.
- Participates in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
- Utilizes excellent customer service skills and works to exceed associates' expectations.
- Assists with administration of MS Defender for Email and other security related training products.
- Assists with maintenance of network infrastructure (Switches, Wi-Fi, UPS, AV).
- Assists with computer imaging and deployments.
- Manage deployment of Windows desktop security updates via ManageEngine Endpoint Central
- Assists with IT Audit documentation.
SHIFTS & STATUS
This is a full time, Exempt/Salaried position
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Minimum of Seven years of experience in a technical support position, troubleshooting hardware/software problems.
- AA degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technical certifications a PLUS
- Knowledge of computing functions for Windows-based PCs
- Knowledge of email security training platforms.
- Knowledge of network switch administration and Wi-Fi systems.
- Proficient with desktop imaging processes and applications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Adobe products.
- Proficient in Android and iOS smartphone platforms.
- Proficient with Active Directory group policy objects.
- Ability to perform at a Tier 3 help desk support level.
- Ability to work with people of varied technological skills.
- Ability to work productively on several projects simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently -- candidate must be a "self-starter".
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and commitment to customer satisfaction.
