Summary

Summary:

Reporting directly to the VP of Practice Operations, t he director will lead our system-wide capacity management programs, provide oversight, strategy, and direction for designing, implementing, and supporting robust system access solutions (via MaineHealth Epic and other technical solutions) aimed at enhancing ambulatory capacity management, business development, accessibility, leveraging automation, and transforming the patient experience. The Director is charged with meaningful collaborative relationships with providers, operational leaders, practice leaders and digital solutions/IT/analytics teams as a means of ensuring successful programming. This leader is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day activities of capacity management teams and system programs including template management for primary and specialty care practices. Additional duties included program development, project management, budget, analysis, problem resolution, personnel management, and performance improvement. This position is responsible for template management strategies and serves as a liaison with the solutions teams and clinic operational leaders supporting MaineHealth' s access and experience goals.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree
  • License/Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: Five years of progressively advanced administrative management in a hospital or outpatient practice environment required.
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Advanced Epic template management experience required
  • Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
