Job Responsibilities:
Ensure the ongoing, profitable growth of Starr's expanding Excess Construction operations. In this role, you will be expected to:
- Achieve budgeted regional production and profitability goals
- Develop and expand key broker relationships and drive marketing across the assigned territory
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality target opportunities across the region
- Assist with the development and implementation of underwriting strategies
- Monitor claim activity and profitability and proactive adjust strategies as needed
- Forecast and report production to regional and profit center leadership
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least2 years of Construction underwriting experience
- Experience with project/wraps preferred
- Strong construction broker relationships in assigned territory
- Proven sales and business development skills in a dynamic marketplace
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
