As a Senior Advanced Engineering Support Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing advanced engineering support for various projects and initiatives in the Aerospace Technologies (AERO) business unit. You will lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring the successful execution of engineering support activities and the delivery of high-quality solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring that all engineering support requirements are met. You will report directly to our Senior Software Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our engineering support operations. You will be responsible for managing a team of support specialists, providing guidance and support to resolve complex customer issues, and driving improvements in our support processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive/support processes for Flight Systems CoE programs
Acts as a technical expert in their realm of function for internal and external customers
Presents project and/or program status to leaders and customers
Ensures internal processes and procedures align with Aerospace and Honeywell Standards
Interfaces with team and resolves project/program issues
Convince external parties that have a desire to reach agreement to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches
Project oversight
Project coordination
Budget/schedule responsibility

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
Minimum 6 years of experience supporting aerospace programs

Working experience on Agile methodologies and/or certified scrum master
Advanced knowledge of Aerospace process development for systems, software and V&V
Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
Apply mastery of a specific professional discipline or broader expertise in most or all areas within a function
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
