The Nurse Practitioner plays a key role in providing high-quality care and support to patients through thorough clinical assessments, collaborative treatment planning, and effective care implementation. This role requires interpreting diagnostic results and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Nurse Practitioners educate patients and families on preventative care, medications, and therapeutic regimens while ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
This is an on-site role in Southlake, TX
Compensation: $65 hourly/Commission (averaging $75-85 hourly)
Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment
Conduct thorough physical examinations independently.
Identify patient needs regarding preventative care, medical conditions, medications, and therapeutic regimens.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, consulting with the Clinic Operations Manager as necessary.
Planning and Implementation
Develop and execute individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Establish care goals, considering physical and emotional factors, and adjust plans as needed.
Coordinate patient care, review reports, and initiate treatment regimens within protocol guidelines.
Patient Education and Referrals
Provide patient education on preventative care, treatment plans, and therapeutic regimens.
Evaluation and Documentation
Assess treatment effectiveness and adapt care plans based on patient progress.
Maintain complete and accurate patient records.
Leadership and Administrative Support
Assist in achieving program objectives and participate in policy and procedure reviews.
Maintain effective communication with staff, ensuring alignment with clinic goals.
Professional Development
Pursuing continuing education to maintain clinical expertise and credentials.
Compliance and Conduct
Uphold confidentiality, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain a professional and safe work environment.
Act with integrity and sound judgment, promoting a positive and respectful culture.
Additional Duties
Support team operations and perform other duties as assigned to meet the clinic's needs.
Qualifications
Proven experience in caregiving and practical training sufficient to excel in practice.
Strong ability to establish credibility and make decisive decisions while aligning with organizational goals and priorities.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to compose professional correspondence and facilitate effective telephone communication.
Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and backgrounds.
Demonstrated experience adhering to standards consistent with best practices in the medical community.
Ability to manage diverse patient interactions and contribute to maintaining an efficient clinical environment.
Proficient in operating and managing clinical equipment associated with advanced practice.
Highly organized with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.

Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
