Position Summary

This position leads external/regional communications through our 'owned' marketing channels, notably digital platforms such as email, the landisgyr.com website, search optimization, and social media, as well as support for major events. This role is responsible for driving communications that range from brand awareness and thought-leadership to specific solution or product promotions, with experience in both the technical use of these channels, the messaging/content development to handle the start-to-finish messaging/copy-writing and enabling the most-effective outreach to drive awareness, lead generation, influence and connection-building with prospects. While this role does not have a direct team, it requires management of virtual teams inside Landis+Gyr and external management of agency and freelancers as needed to complete projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Email-based promotions - Lead the cadence of email-based promotion including top-level messaging and content creation, execution of the promotion, and tracking of metrics for evaluation of success/outreach. 20%

Website - Lead regional updates for website. Ability to both execute updates and/or guide agency on needs that require deepr expertise, working in partnership with other global and regional counterparts. 20%

Social Media - Manage the full social media cycle from content strategy to execution, managing internal and external resources to ensure optimal engagement, integration with other chanel campaigns as needed. 20%

Digital lead for events - Creation and execution of digital promotion plans/messaging to promote major events (significantly Distributech, TechAdvantage & Exchange user conference) and minor events throughout the year. For Exchange user conference, guide entire event website and event management application including annual creation and updates specific to the annual event needs. 20%

Various Adhoc Requests - As needed, other adhoc marketing requests. Example may include support of intranet updates, sales or marketing assets/organization, executive requests for support, content/editing reviews etc. 20%

Education & Experience:
  • Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelors Degree
  • Emphasis in marketing, PR or communications related field.
  • Required Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ to 5
  • Not less than 4 years experience in position associated with marketing communications, public relations, marketing, or product management.
  • Required/Desired Certifications: Must have experience working with our marketing technology tool suite in conjuction with executing marketing plans through these channels. Business to business experience a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Driving Status: Will drive on business for the Company 6 times or less per year.

  • Personal Protection Equipment/Other OHSAS-18001 Safety Requirements: Ensure the continued efforts and assist in achieving annual goals of health, safety, and environmental policies. Must be current with available OSHA/Safety Training provided by the Company. If required, must be able to work while wearing safety equipment such as hard hats, work boats, gloves, hearing protection, and others.

Pay is in the range of $73,031 - $112,955 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
