Hematology/Oncology Opening in Massachusetts South Shore Area

A nationally recognized cancer center just south of Boston is adding a Hematology/Oncology physician to its team. The ideal candidate should have interest and expertise in the clinical care of oncology and hematology patients and participate in clinical trial enrollment.

About the Opportunity:

• Join a team of 13 Hematology/ Oncology Physicians
• The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with one day for admin and remote
• On-call is 1:13
• Average daily patient census per provider is 15-20 patients per day
• The position is a mix of both Hematology and Oncology
• No rounding during the day as we have dedicated oncology hospitalists
• The Cancer Center houses medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, laboratory, and imaging services in a state-of-the-art facility on the campus of 396-bed community hospital
