Overview
Helios Defense Solutions LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, is seeking multiple highly motivated and qualified Network and Computer System Administrators immediately on a contract basis to support U.S. STRATCOM at Offutt AFB, NE.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the integration and operation of mission applications by assisting in the identification, demonstration, installation, and testing of new and/or enhanced hardware/software applications, as requested by the Government; supporting and coordinating with system administration personnel to ensure user access to core analyst toolset; build and maintain a compendium of application user guides; providing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support to the J2's Geospatial Information System, including documentation on system environment.
Requirements
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Hold an active Top Secret clearance
- Possess at a minimum a current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification or current DoD 8140 certification.
- Possess at least five (5) years of relevant experience with and/or education supporting the integration and operation of mission applications; assist in the identification, demonstration, installation, and testing of new and enhanced applications.
- Possess at least five (5) years of relevant experience with and/or education developing user guides to assist end users in utilizing tools and applications.
- Possess at least five (5) years of relevant experience with and/or education with Windows and Linux system administration, including patching, deploying applications, securing operating systems, and documenting changes through a change
management process.
- Possess at least five (5) years of relevant experience with and/or education using and maintaining Geospatial applications and requirements.
Pay Range:
The salary for this position is not 100% guaranteed.
