Primary Position Objectives
This position plays a critical role in helping manage customer projects related to bringing new products on-line at CSS. The Program Manager performs a variety of duties related to early involvement in assessing opportunities, quoting and generating proposals, and helping to ensure a smooth production launch of new products. Program Managers also work closely with Customer Service Representatives as an escalation point for issues involving legacy parts. Critical to the success of this role is communications and interactions with external customers, as well as with internal departments and personnel.

Description of Duties
- Lead projects by communicating with and influencing peers, customers, team members and employees from quality, engineering, estimating, production, sales, customer service, purchasing and other departments.
- Maintain close working relationships with CSS departments and customers, within the scope of developing new opportunities and managing projects through completion.
- Organize and lead Contract Reviews
- Support Customer Service when escalated issues arise for legacy items.
- Review and finalize pricing on estimates

- Adhere to company policies, environmental and safety standards, good housekeeping standards.
- Observe company processes and make recommendations for improvement
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communications, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated, self-starter, sense of urgency, personable, well organized
- Strong leadership, organizational and managerial skills.
- Able to manage assigned projects in a collaborative team environment.
- Previous experience in these areas would be helpful: sales, customer service, engineering, quality control, supply chain management.
- Proficient with MS Office
