Basic or Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors of Science degree (Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Finance, Data Science/Analytics);
Requires a minimum of five (5) years' experience in roles that require a foundational understanding of value levers in Project Controls;
Requires a minimum of two years' with duties or responsibilities in Cost Management and in three or more of the following functions: Scope Management, Schedule Management, Resource Management, Risk Management or Quality Management;
Requires a minimum of five (5) years' experience translating and presenting technical data in audience appropriate formats;
Experience referenced above must be gained through roles/industries that are capital project related;
Requires a minimum of five (5) years' experience in roles that require the use of modern data analysis techniques and tools;
Requires three years' experience with facilitating group workshops or meetings;
Requires three years' experience soliciting technical or complex data from SMEs or other key stakeholders in an interview format;
Requires on the job exposure to and working knowledge of P6;
Requires working knowledge of PMBOK
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the Electric Utility preferred;
Common terminology for this role in the Utilities industry is a "scrub resource"; candidates with experience in this role are preferred;
Experience with managing or scoping $15M+ project budgets preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create Project Fact Base
- Develop initial hypotheses on potential value levers by reviewing current data on the project and interviewing key project stakeholders
- Conduct analyses to refine hypotheses in conjunction with project team, scrub master, and SMEs; structures analyses into easily digestible format to facilitate productive workshop discussions
- Escalate issues to scrub leadership and scrub master as needed
Organize and Facilitate Scrub Workshops
- Ensure necessary participants are identified and included in workshops to ensure the full set of value opportunities are explored
- Support fact base syndication with project team, scrub master, and scrub champions ahead of scrub workshop
Size Scrub Workshop Ideas And Facilitate Impact Tracking Handoff To Project Team
- Consolidate ideas generated from workshop and works with project team to estimate value in order to prioritize highest impact ideas
- Guide project team through creating and progressing Wave initiative
- Follow up with the project team on regular cadence to ensure ideas are implemented
- Capture lessons learned for each project scrub, create and share best practices
Key Interactions
- Regular problem-solving sessions with scrub masters and other scrub resources to identify opportunities and share best practices
- SME interviews relevant to projects being scrubbed
- Regularly conduct 3-5 hour scrub workshops with appropriate project stakeholders

- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment (Private or Semi-Private Office) but also requires occasional travel to off-site work locations.
- Field duties require trips to transmission line ROW and substations.

- May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes.
