Job Description

Directs the development, coordination and administration of policies, services and programs that optimize operational functions to improve clinical outcomes and financial performance within Digital Experience. Collaborates with leadership to identify best practices, develop operational strategies and cost effective solutions. Participates in the development and implementation of financial, operational and strategic planning activities. Facilitates quality improvement initiatives and cross-business unit collaboration.

This position is based in Lake Success on Long Island, but is a hybrid role.

Job Responsibility
  • Lead execution of project delivery using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Develop forecasts and strategic plans to ensure capacity requirements align with release schedules, resource levels, and demand.
  • Lead and oversee the design of change management plans leveraging a consistent methodology, best practices and common set of tools; can work with the enterprise change management team where appropriate.

Develop leaders and drive programs and initiatives that support and impact the overall Northwell health system goals.
Develop and articulate a long-term strategic vision for areas of responsibility.
Promote quality and productivity improvements through involvement in the development of improved procedures, process innovations and changes which support the strategic direction of the health system; plan and implement the utilization of information resources to support the strategic direction and operation of the organization.
Research, develop and coordinate the implementation of strategic plans, policies and standards to maximize programmatic success while managing program expense.
Participate in planning, organizing and coordinating financial policies and practices to control revenues, disburse funds and conserve assets; monitors fiscal operations including, fiscal accounting, reporting and control; billing and payroll; third party reimbursement and contracting; regulatory cost reporting, internal auditing and budget coordination and forecasting.
Collaborate with leadership to identify best practices and deficiencies, develop performance improvement strategies and cost effective solutions; identifies new opportunities, tests new ideas and ensures implementation.
Participate in the planning, design, implementation and support of information systems, networks and departmental applications to improve efficiencies; interpret and standardize all fiscal and regulatory reporting standards to ensure compliance with government and regulatory reporting and third-party agencies.
Direct the implementation of Human Resources plans to achieve strategic goals and objectives including organizational development, recruiting, compensation, training and development and employee relations.
Direct the management and development of professional contacts and community support through identifying and developing new business initiatives and opportunities.
Represent the business unit with various internal and external partners and manages joint operating committees as needed.
  • Work with external partners, governmental bodies and community-based organizations to advance the care of at-risk patients.

Job Qualification
Master's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
10-12 years of relevant experience and 7+ years of leadership / management experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $140,100-$245,200/year
