Salary + Additional Benefits:

Location: Houston, TX 77087
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Sitewide leadership: Manage every aspect of HSE for three company locations, including scheduling and oversight of all required testing, regulatory compliance activities, and permitting.
- Insurance liaison: Partner with the company's insurance carrier to meet all safety reporting and loss control requirements.
- Develop procedures and lead the implementation of processes that ensure compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
- Prepare, maintain, and update HSE policy and procedure manuals.
- Provide leadership, supervision, data interpretation, and technical advice for projects.
- Coach project teams to drive continuous HSE performance improvement.
- Track incidents and maintain complete HSE records.
- Work with all employees to instill a safe, environmentally conscientious work environment, assess awareness, discuss policies, advise on best practices, and coaching to improve behavior
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years in HSE leadership roles, ideally across multiple locations
- A relevant degree or equivalent field experience
- Strong knowledge of chemical treatment and wastewater processes and permitting
- ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor Verification
- RCRA/DOT Certification
- Health & Safety Certification
- Fork Lift Training Certificate
- Management of Hazardous Waste Training
- OSHA Certificate
- Skilled in MS Office; familiarity with SafetyCulture or similar tools is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication; able to speak effectively before senior management, clients, subcontractors and employees
- Sound judgment and decision making abilities
