We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect (Cloud Native) to design, develop, and deliver robust and scalable cloud-native solutions that meet business requirements and drive digital transformation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern cloud patterns, practices and the technologies that includes cloud platform engineering and DevSecOps.

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect (Cloud Native) to design, develop, and deliver robust and scalable cloud-native solutions that meet business requirements and drive digital transformation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern cloud patterns, practices and the technologies that includes cloud platform engineering and DevSecOps.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and deliver cloud-native solutions focusing on containerization, microservices, and serverless architectures.
- Lead the development of cloud platform engineering strategies and technology roadmap.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enable and uplift DevSecOps practices and platform tooling.
- Architect and implement Kubernetes-based platform solutions for container orchestration, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Experience with designing and implementing complex hybrid and multi-cloud networking solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solution requirements.
- Ensure cloud-native solutions are integrated with existing systems and meet stringent security and compliance requirements.
- Analyze and optimize cloud infrastructure costs, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure all cloud and infrastructure solutions comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Evaluate and select appropriate cloud technologies and vendors.
- Conduct architectural assessments and provide recommendations for continuous improvement through participation in architecture governance forums.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectures, practices, and patterns.
- Maintain a strong understanding of emerging cloud-native technologies and industry trends.
Specialized Skills and Technologies
- Cloud-native architecture patterns and best practices on AWS.
- Kubernetes architecture and management.
- Infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Networking and security best practices.
- DevSecOps pipelines and security automation.
- Modern application development patterns (microservices, serverless).
- Scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible).
- Monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch).
- Container registry management (e.g., AWS ECR).
- Cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven industry experience, with 5+ years in solution architecture roles, specializing in cloud-native technologies and DevSecOps.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform and its services.
- Deep understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and AWS networking services (VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect).
- Expertise in DevSecOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, security automation, and compliance.
- Experience with modern application development patterns (microservices, serverless, event-driven architectures).
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including Linux systems, storage, and databases.
- Experience with infrastructure architecture patterns for cloud-native applications.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Nice To Have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Professional.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
- Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio).
- Experience with event streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
- Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
