Building relationships with business lines leaders is imperative to enforce compliance with the TPRM Policy and Minimum Requirements. The Program team also provides first line governance and oversight key TPRM activities.

As a Third-Party Risk Manager, you will be part of the team that manages and maintains the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Program. Building relationships with business lines leaders is imperative to enforce compliance with the TPRM Policy and Minimum Requirements. The Program team also provides first line governance and oversight key TPRM activities.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Provide guidance to business line service owners/managers and first line risk regarding the development, execution, and management of third-party oversight plans; advise owner of changes, risks and strategies for any potential impacts to third party relationships, performance, or risk and monitor to ensure plans are actioned for each in scope vendor.
- Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders, ensure consistency in management approach and to promote proactive management of third-party relationships and performance; monitor first line to ensure plans are actioned for each in scope vendor.
- Identify existing controls and propose additional controls to mitigate and manage third party risk.
- Develop and continue to enhance third party oversight governance standards to ensure compliance with established service and performance level standards
- Provide regular feedback to business line service owners/managers and stakeholders on their adherence to TPRM program
- Perform other related duties as assigned or appropriate
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in an IT Risk, Audit, Third Party Risk or Information Security organization with an overall understanding of Audit, Security and Risk.
- Experience gathering information from a range of different sources and in a number of different ways e.g. data collection, interviews, meetings, review of processes, manuals, and documentation review.
- Experience with GRC methodologies, tools, and enablers preferably in a financial industry
- Strong thought leadership in Risk Management and ability to act as management when required.
- Demonstrated experience working as part of a team - coupled with ability to gather and analyze information & provide a suitable solution.
Skill:
- Strong project management.
- Advanced Microsoft tools.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize workloads and work on own initiative.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in either Risk Management, Information Systems/Security or related field or proven experience in Risk, Information Security or Audit.
Hours & Work Schedule: 5 days in the Johnston RI Office

- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
