We are passionate about combining cutting-edge eyewear design with compelling visual storytelling. Our creative studio produces high-quality video and photo content in-house and on location to elevate our brand, engage our audience, and drive innovation in the eyewear industry.About the Role
We are seeking a talented and organized Video Producer to oversee the production of video shoots and shows for our direct-to-consumer brand. The ideal candidate will have experience managing both studio and on-location productions, excelling in creative collaboration, logistical planning, and execution.
Location: This hybrid position requires in-studio presence 2-3 days per week, with additional remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Production Oversight: Manage the planning and execution of video shoots, ensuring deliverables align with creative briefs, timelines, and budgets
Project Management: Coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources for multiple productions simultaneously, keeping projects on track and stakeholders informed
Team Collaboration: Partner with the creative team, photographers, videographers, stylists, and marketing teams to bring concepts to life while maintaining brand consistency
Location Coordination: Scout, secure, and coordinate on-location shoots, managing permits, travel logistics, and on-site needs
Studio Management: Oversee in-studio shoots, ensuring all equipment, props, and materials are prepared and optimized for efficient production days
Talent Coordination: Hire and manage talent, including models, stylists, and freelance crew, fostering positive relationships to maintain a robust talent pool
Problem Solving: Act as the point of contact during shoots, resolving challenges quickly and maintaining smooth operations
Post-Production Liaison: Coordinate with post-production teams to ensure seamless handoffs of assets and maintain quality control throughout the editing process

Compensation
In addition to other forms of compensation like perks and benefits, the estimated range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 USD. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for various reasons including business needs.

Basic Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in video production, preferably in a corporate or retail brand setting
- Direct experience producing organic YouTube content (e.g. organic retail brand content, influencer/creator content channels, etc.)
- Experience managing budgets for productions, preferably including experience using payroll software (such as Wrapbook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.In-depth knowledge of production processes, including budgeting, scheduling, equipment needs, and location logistics
- Experience working in both studio and on-location environments
- A strong creative eye and understanding of branding and visual storytelling
- Familiarity with LA's creative and production ecosystem, including talent and location resources
- Proficiency with project management tools and production software
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment, with regular in-studio presence required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a show line producer
- Experience in the eyewear or fashion industries
- Existing relationships with photographers, videographers, and production crews in LA
- Knowledge of permitting and regulatory requirements for on-location shoots
