Responsibilities

Related is seeking a Commercial Assistant Property Manager to join our team at 50 Hudson Yards, one of New York City's most prestigious office towers. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the seamless operations of a premier commercial property, ensuring exceptional tenant experiences and efficient management.

The ideal candidate will support daily building operations, financial oversight, and tenant relations while working alongside industry-leading professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Building Information: 50 Hudson Yards | Related

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of effective building operations strategies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and common areas to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors to address repairs, maintenance requests, and service needs.
  • Assist in the management of building security, including access control systems and emergency preparedness protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, responding promptly to inquiries and addressing concerns.
  • Assist in the coordination of tenant move-ins, move-outs, and space modifications, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
  • Support the collection of rent payments and tenant billings, following up on delinquencies and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist in the review and approval of vendor invoices and track expenses to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Assist in implementation and compliance of tenant lease obligations and amenity program facilities management.
  • Ensure that proper insurance documentation for all outside vendors is collected and available for supervisory review.
  • Work with team to evaluate capital building needs.
  • Assist with reporting (CVR Report, Investor Report)


  • Building Operations Support:
    • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of effective building operations strategies and procedures.

    • Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors to address repairs, maintenance requests, and service needs.
    • Assist in the management of building security, including access control systems and emergency preparedness protocols.
  • Tenant Relations:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, responding promptly to inquiries and addressing concerns.
    • Assist in the coordination of tenant move-ins, move-outs, and space modifications, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.
    • Collaborate with leasing and marketing teams to support tenant retention efforts and assist in resolving lease-related matters.
  • Financial Management:
    • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual property budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial goals.
    • Support the collection of rent payments and tenant billings, following up on delinquencies and resolving discrepancies.
    • Assist in the review and approval of vendor invoices and track expenses to maintain accurate financial records.
    • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial statements.
  • Compliance and Sustainability:
    • Assist in ensuring compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
    • Support sustainability initiatives and assist in monitoring energy efficiency, waste management, and environmental programs.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to building certifications, inspections, and permits.


Compensation:

$100,000 - $115,000/yr + Discretionary Bonus

Qualifications

  • 3 years of real estate operations and/or property management experience within Class-A Manhattan Office Market
  • Effective, clear, and affirmative verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
  • Understanding of property management issues
  • Ability to understand and assist in the preparation of budgets and monthly reporting requirements
  • Ability to perform written assignments, including preparation of reports, proofreading and editing
  • Skilled in organization, multi-tasking and time management
