Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Interventional Radiology
Job Duration: 14 weeks
Shift: Day, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience required, with 1 year of neuro experience or neuro experience in a general ICU setting. Neuro IR procedure experience is required.
License: Compact or KY State License required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH certifications required
Must-Have: Comfortable and skilled to care for neonates through geriatric patients in a procedure setting. Travel experience required. COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with exceptions only for medical or religious reasons.
Job Description:
- LEVEL ONE EXPERIENCE preferred.
- Travel nursing experience required.
- Respond to call policy within a 1-hour timeframe.
- On-call weekday hours are 8 PM-6 AM. Weekend shifts are divided into 6 AM-6 PM or 6 PM-6 AM, starting Saturday at 6 AM and ending Monday morning at 6 AM.
- Willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- Handle call responsibilities; anticipated 2-3 call shifts per 6-week schedule period.
- Perform duties in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Complete modules during orientation and annually, varying by specialty. Average time is 6.5 hours.
- Participate in an 8-hour orientation session.
