Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Join more than 400 team members collaborating on the two-building campus to help put breakfast on the tables of millions of consumers in North America.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP of Business-to-Business, the Sr. Director Foodservice will lead the Sales, Marketing, and strategic growth plan for the Foodservice business channel at Post Consumer Brands. This portfolio includes all direct and related Foodservice business channels, including K-12, College & Universities, Hospitality, Health Care, and C-Store. The Foodservice channel sells and markets all brands captured under the broader PCB umbrella, including premium ready-to-eat cereals, value-based cereals, hot cereal, peanut butter, and all applicable Pet products.
This role is all about running the day-to-day business to deliver the annual plan while simultaneously building for the future to achieve sustainable top and bottom-line growth. This leader must excel at understanding the big picture, formulating compelling business strategies, and be able to translate these plans to actionable steps that the organization can mobilize around. In addition to leading the corporate planning process for Foodservice, this senior leader will be responsible for supporting all direct sales and marketing efforts that touch the Foodservice Channel.

Marketing Responsibilities
- Manage the business P&L, volume forecast, and marketing budget. Work closely with cross-functional partners in Finance, Demand Planning, and Revenue Management.
- Manage the production, execution, and communication of sales materials that support both existing products and new product launches.
- Provide direct input to brand and supply teams based on deep understanding of the channel dynamics.
- Assess competitive threats and determine best courses of action to mitigate potential risks.
- Provide consumer, category, competition, and channel/customer analysis as part of on-going business management.
Planning Responsibilities
- Own the annual planning process for the Foodservice business. Support the 3-year strategic LRP process.
- Organize quarterly business reviews to inform and align corporate resources around progress against execution in the marketplace.
- Support annual bid and pricing plans for key Foodservice channels. Align strategies between Field and Finance to ensure both selling and financial objectives are met.
- Monitor and manage Foodservice trade spending, contract management, and net selling price.
Sales Responsibilities
- Represent Sales voice internally to realize executional excellence with Channel plans - understand and communicate challenges and opportunities effectively into winning strategies.
- Regularly participate in customer calls to ensure a tight link between the Field and Corporate environment.
- Lead trade/pricing execution process for Foodservice. Ensure contract management process is rigorously executed.
- Adapt and refine broker strategy in the Foodservice channel to ensure effective execution and linkage to corporate strategy.
People Leadership Responsibilities
- Provide management, coaching, and professional guidance to direct reports with a focus on developing functional, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Build and maintain relationships with cross functional partners, outside vendors, and the Executive Leadership Team.
Working Location: Hybrid
- This role is located at the Lakeville, MN Corporate office
- Typical hybrid schedule includes 3 days in-office with remote flexibility up to 2 days a week. #LI-hybrid
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Abilities Required:
- Exceptional general management skills including strategic planning, project management, market analysis, research planning, portfolio management and P&L management.
- Superior ability to create a clear and compelling vision and drive it through an organization.
- Strong financial acumen that includes managing the P&L, pricing, COGS, margins, budgets, cash flow, and capital investments.
- Proven ability to grow a business that balances the need to grow revenue and profit while managing the implications of bid outcomes.
- Experience managing people, ideally for seven years or more. Candidate must have superior managerial and coaching skills, including the ability to develop talent and future leaders in the organization.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills with all levels of senior management and with cross-functional partners.
- High energy, drive and influencing skills to successfully commercialize projects even when significant hurdles are presented.
- Experience in change management tools and techniques.
- Strong Data Analysis Skills / be able to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Foodservice management positions
- Direct Sales Account Management experience required
Travel Requirement: up to 25%
