IBM Lifecycle Management Specialist

Work/Education Experience
Compensation Range: $135,000 - $165,000
The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, and certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities
- Manage artifact link-type relationships within the IBM DOORS platform.
- Create, maintain, and update source artifacts to reflect evolving requirements.
- Develop and implement comprehensive requirement management strategies to support project objectives.
- Organize and insert documentation into requirement artifacts.
- Configure and utilize various DOORS view types, including overview, export, and baseline views.
- Use DOORS CSPS to monitor and track workflows across project phases.
- Manage and execute analysis tasks within workflow systems.
- Process and track artifact change tasks and information requests (IRs).
- Create and perform complex queries within the workflow management tools to support project tracking.
- Develop and maintain robust test plans aligned with project specifications.
- Author and manage detailed test cases for various development stages.
- Generate and track test execution records, ensuring traceability and accountability.
- Identify, log, and manage software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Uphold high-quality standards in testing and validation practices.
- Generate customized reports using the ELM Report Builder and Report Generator tools.
- Compile and format monthly requirement documentation, from mid-level summaries to detailed specifications.
- Manage ELM self-service tools to support internal users.
- Perform full user account lifecycle administration, including:
- Adding new users and updating existing profiles.
- Managing DOORS permissions and user roles.
- Archiving inactive user accounts.
- Providing password reset and access support.
- Communicate complex technical and process information effectively to leadership-level executives; present recommendations, influence decisions, and support strategic alignment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management tools.
- Profound understanding of requirement management principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in creating and managing complex workflow processes.
- Experience with test management and quality assurance methodologies.
Work/Education Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or other related degrees. (Required)
- 5+ years of experience applying analytical processes on IT projects. (Required)
- 3+ years of experience in systems analysis and design. (Required)
- 2+ years' experience as an architect configuring IBM ELM (Required)
- 2+ years of ITIL experience (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) (Required)
- CSM and/or CSPO (Desired)
- Certified Software Tester Certification or CBAP (Desired)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Desired)
