Position Summary

The Solutions Director - Data Products, works with the executive and management teams of strategic accounts with a focus on eShipping's Profitability Intelligence service offering. This role is the strategic and analytical execution of eShipping's data products business vertical. The Director is responsible for identifying and acting upon key areas of risk, success, and continuous improvement within the supply chain, across the portfolio. This individual effectively communicates and implements findings, drives results, and enhances eShipping's value to key strategic partnerships by maximizing customer returns.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Function as the customer's direct contact point into eShipping.
Provide strategic direction and analytical support for new and existing business solutions.
Partner with Account Managers to increase utilization of eShipping services and identify new sources of revenue and net income across business divisions.
Design, build, analyze, and interpret supply chain data that supports new and existing business solutions.
Develop, track, and communicate business cases/protocols to demonstrate value and gain trust through transparency and data.
Maintain an understanding of all-mode industry-related news and trends.
Assist with the development and maintenance of company KPI dashboards or reports.
Ensure all accounts are appropriately supported and quickly identify risk or growth opportunities.
Communicate detailed requirements with examples and clear use cases to cut down on cycle times for other teams to provide responses or support development.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, in person and via phone or virtual meeting.
Skilled at summarizing complex information into straightforward takeaways supported by data.

Experienced professional with the ability to manage demanding executive and private equity personalities and expectations.
Experience working with solution and product teams to convey requirements effectively and thoughtfully.
Excellent follow-through and detail orientation.
Analytical Skills & Business Proficiency
Ability to understand, interpret, and explain complex supply chain issues, and respond appropriately.
Skilled at analyzing channels, customers, pricing, incentives, freight policies, and financial impacts to create data-driven solutions for improvement.
Predictive planning skills to foresee future needs and set up necessary views ahead of time.
Ability to translate a company's needs and solutions to others and articulate those needs in the form of detailed requirements for support teams.
Requires the ability to travel up to 20% of the work week.
Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment.

Minimum Education and Experience
Recommended 10+ years' industry experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Consulting experience is preferred, whether internally or through a consulting firm.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is inside a central heat and air-conditioned office building. The noise level in the work environment is minimal.
