Position: Registered Nurse/Clinical Supervisor I, Operating Room Unit
What You'll Do: As a Registered Nurse/Clinical Supervisor I, Operating Room Unit, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring nursing staff, fostering an environment of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Managing shift schedules and assignments, ensuring optimal patient flow and staff efficiency.
- Utilizing your critical thinking skills to solve problems and promote effective communication among patients, families, staff, and physicians.
- Serving as a clinical expert and role model, advocating for the best patient experience.
- Engaging in hospital-wide initiatives, committees, and councils to share information and improve practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 2-5 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting as a Registered Nurse. 2 or more years prior charge nurse experience is preferred.
- Education: BSN preferred. RNs with an associate degree must enroll in an accredited BSN program within 30 days of employment and complete it within 4 years.
- Licensure/Certifications: Current California RN license, BLS certification, LA City Fire Card certification within 30 days of hire, and specialty-specific certifications as required.
- OR Requirements: ACLS for RNFA (Registered Nurse First Assistant) certification preferred.
