Amazon Business' Central Marketing Team is seeking an experienced, strategic Head of Brand and Paid Media to lead these multi-faceted functions to the next level. You will lead a team of brand and paid media marketers, responsible for driving awareness and consideration of AB worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, developing, executing, and optimizing a bar raising worldwide mass advertising campaign. You will also be responsible for setting the strategy for how Amazon Business leverages paid channels (excl. paid search) to deepen brand affinity and purchase intent. You will partner closely with and be expected to represent these functions with Amazon Consumer and pan-Amazon B2B brand and media teams, creative and media agencies, and Amazon Business executive and product tech leadership. You will also partner closely with audience-specific marketers, marketing ops, data engineers / scientists, and market research / user experience research. You will build and scale a media measurement framework, and optimize plans for all paid media (excl. paid search) on- and off-Amazon, operating as a center of excellence for all Amazon Business marketers worldwide.

Key job responsibilities
Developing multi-year plan to step change AB awareness and consideration
Developing annual operating plan
Developing brand campaign strategies
Developing and executing strategies for paid media campaigns and optimization, for brand awareness, customer acquisition, and product sales
Leading creative and media agencies and cross-functional teams for execution
Developing mechanisms for inspecting and elevating campaign performance worldwide
Driving global scalability of brand marketing campaigns and media
Implementing mechanisms to audit how AB brand is represented on all touch points
Keeping up with the advancement of advertising science and trends

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience managing teams

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategy and present complex information clearly and concisely

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in B2B brand strategy

- Experience in Retail and Technical industries

- Experience in directly leading paid media team

- Experience working with market research and comms/PR

- Experience in working globally

- Experience with technical analysts community (e.g., Gartner, Forrester)

- Positive track record of managing and developing agency support

- Experience in managing a large budget

- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision

- Excellent project and time management skills

- Builder mindset - adventurous and entrepreneurial, driven to constantly improve communication, processes, and results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $168,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $278,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
