Global Deal Strategy & Programs (GDSP) is seeking a Program Manager to develop and implement scaling solution to help shape the future of our organization. You will work directly with the Director of GDSP Mechanisms and Scaling to create and execute cross-org programs that leverage data analytics and artificial intelligence to drive sustainable business outcomes. In this hands-on global role, you will work cross-functionally with members from various teams, including Operations, Analytics, Sales Compensation, Workforce Planning, HR, Finance and others to build and deploy mechanisms to improve efficiency across GDSP. This role requires an individual who can balance technical expertise with strategic thinking to build credibility with internal customers and stakeholders across all levels.

You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity, pivoting needs or competing priorities. You must be comfortable diving deep on the strategic, technical, and tactical levels. You will think up, propose, design, and implement big ideas to improve the business for both day-to-day operations and long-term solutions. You must be customer obsessed and apply high standards.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in building innovative solutions; must have proven analytical capabilities (including ability to deep dive, root cause and permanently eliminate hazards and risks) and ability to multi-task; and can thrive in a fast-paced environment with exceptional communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate must have high judgment and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in many areas across the company.

Key job responsibilities
Working with the broader stakeholder community to help identify synergies and build corresponding processes that meets the aggregate needs of the business at scale.
Leading critical scaling initiatives focused on improving business outcomes, translating complex data into actionable insights for leadership.
Developing narratives, generating reports, and performing in-depth data analysis.
Building and maintaining mechanisms to track KPIs and conduct deep dives.
Communicating progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Driving accountability across stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
\tBuilding and manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on scaling initiatives.
Leverage data analytics and artificial intelligence to drive sustainable business outcomes.
Working with tech teams on automating processes and improving operational excellence.
Developing standardized processes and best practices to improve organizational efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
\t8+ years of program or project management experience.
\t5+ years of leading process improvements experience.
\tDirect experience working deal team/sales and customer facing teams.
\tTrack record of building and implementing scalable solutions and managing complex, cross-functional programs.
\tDeep experience using data and metrics to identify gaps and drive improvements.
\tExperience developing and owning program strategy, work back schedules, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
\tAdvanced Excel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

- Direct experience working deal team/sales and customer facing teams.

- Track record of building and implementing scalable solutions and managing complex, cross-functional programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Advanced Excel skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
