Description:
We are seeking an HR executive to oversee our entire Human Resources Department and ensure the strategic alignment of HR initiatives with organizational values and goals. This position provides leadership and direction across all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation, training and development, and compliance. The SHRD works closely with senior management and subordinate HR managers to develop and implement HR initiatives that are compliant, fair and protect the interests of the company while maintaining positive employee relations.
Role Highlights:
Strategic Leadership
Collaborate with the leadership team to provide insights and guidance on workforce planning and organizational development.
Drive initiatives and analyze success through KPI's and metrics for the department.
Analyze market and internal resources to ensure appropriate workforce planning and forecasting.
Drive communication efforts on company and employee information, ensuring appropriate tone, content, and recipients.
Operational Oversight
Lead and provide guidance to managers overseeing individual HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and training.
Work with Field Services and Risk Departments on initiatives that overlap with the HR Department to improve employee experience and company success.
Monitor the performance and effectiveness of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Allocate resources and establish metrics to measure success across HR operations.
Prepares and maintains the budget of human resources operations.
Oversee and manage employees and company claims to appropriate resolution.
Manage employee and company claims in a fair and consistent manner.
Employee Engagement and Development
Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting professional development and training programs.
Collaborate with leadership on employee performance management with the strategic intent of long-term career pathing and succession planning.
Design initiatives to boost employee morale, engagement, and retention.
Act as an advocate for employees, addressing concerns and ensuring fair practices throughout the organization.
Change Management
Lead HR's role in driving organizational change and managing transitions effectively.
Partner with other departments to align HR efforts with broader organizational changes.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in related field required. Master's degree preferred.
HR Certifications, such as Professional in Human Resources (HR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR).
10 plus years of HR experience including leadership roles within the HR function. Relevant industry experience preferred.
Expertise in using UKG, and any other relevant HR software.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional people-management and communication skills. Experienced in networking and relationship management.
Experience in planning and implementing successful HR strategies.
