We provide Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Mental Health Services, Dental Services, and Social Services and Resource Assistance, and have been the leading community health center (also known as a Federally Qualified Health Center or FQHC) in our service area since 2013.

About the Role:
As a Pediatric Physician, you will play a crucial role in the health and well-being of children from infancy through adolescence. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric illnesses and conditions, ensuring that each child receives personalized and comprehensive care. You will collaborate with families to educate them about health maintenance, preventive care, and the management of chronic conditions. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting routine check-ups, vaccinations, and developmental assessments to monitor the growth and development of your patients. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to the overall improvement of pediatric health outcomes in the community.

- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in children.
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health education to families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in the state of Texas;
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics.
- Board certification in Pediatrics or eligibility for certification.
- BLS, NRP and PALS Certified;
- Federal DEA Certification; Board certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Medicine.
- Must be credentialed per Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System policies and procedure
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in a pediatric practice setting.
- Fellowship training in a pediatric subspecialty.
- Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Experience with EPIC
