This leadership role will lead a team bringing our strategic vision to life, and is based in Bentonville, Arkansas where we are expanding our awesome design community in our new, state-of-the-art campus.
As the UX Director, Enterprise Design Systems, you will lead the evolution of Walmart's enterprise design system for the AI age, through highly strategic and craft-based design leadership, at the scale and speed of Walmart retail. Leveraging generative AI tooling, design-to-code automation, and robust design systems governance models, you will champion enterprise-wide adoption and adherence to Walmart's design standards, enabling everyone at Walmart (designers, engineers, writers, etc. across Walmart US, Sam's Club, and international markets) to deliver consumer-grade digital experiences, consistently and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

- Ability to define and advocate for an enterprise-wide design systems vision
- Track record of shipping and managing complex design systems, in a fast-moving and changing enterprise - one that celebrates experimentation, iteration, and shipping at scale
- Built and managed multi-disciplinary teams of designers, researchers, writers, and front-end developers, while creating a strong design systems culture
- A strong strategic mindset and a systems thinking approach
- Adept with modern design systems tooling and automation
