Job Summary:
The Associate Dean, Health Professions is a full-time, benefited position responsible for assisting in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of instructional programs in the School of Health Sciences & Wellness and the Health Sciences & Wellness Pathway. This position also provides leadership and fosters positive collegial relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Associate Dean is responsible for applying strategic enrollment management principles, facilitating compliance with relevant agencies, and supporting the general HSW Pathway program's recruitment, retention, and enrollment efforts. The position works closely with the Dean, Health Sciences & Wellness in handling School operations and with Health Sciences faculty in maintaining high quality programs.

- Compliance: Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement by overseeing program reviews, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to align school policies and practices with institutional and industry expectations.
- Curriculum and Outcomes Assessment: Enhance curriculum and outcomes assessment by developing, evaluating, and refining instructional materials, assessment tools, and program effectiveness measures.
- Internal and External Collaboration: Advance strategic partnerships and program expansion in allied health by collaborating with college personnel, professional organizations, and community stakeholders to maintain program relevance, strengthen industry relationships, and align institutional resources with regional workforce needs.
- Enrollment Management and Pathway Leadership: Strengthen enrollment management and pathway leadership by developing, implementing, and evaluating recruitment strategies, student support initiatives, and academic pathways to improve retention and completion rates.
- HSW Operational Support: Ensure operational excellence and efficiency in the department by overseeing daily processes, supporting the Dean in managing school functions, and optimizing student enrollment and administrative workflows.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum design, teaching, instruction, and assessment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the philosophy and objectives of the community college.

- Three years' full-time experience in a healthcare-related field

Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution
- Five years' full-time college teaching experience
- Five years' of successful administrative/management experience from education or healthcare industry
- Leadership experience in planning, curriculum and instruction, student learning outcomes and assessment, program development, and student retention
- Evidence of productive participation in department-level processes such as scheduling, program review/program accreditation, curriculum development, student issues, and other department tasks
