Overview

Kemin Biologics is hiring a Campus Manager for it's newest location in Lenexa, KS!

The primary purpose of the Campus Manager is to ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, optimizes production efficiency, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality. To provide leadership for biologics manufacturing and to serve internal and external customers, to provide Kemin biologics products at the required safety, quality, performance, and environmental expectations. Lead, develop, and coach team members at the Kemin Biologics USDA licensed facility, and provided support to the ongoing development projects in Research and Development.

Responsibilities

  • Support and follow all safety procedures and protocols for a safe and clean work environment; Educate and direct personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Provide overall leadership and day-to-day direction of all departments in the manufacturing facility.
  • Maintain regulatory and quality compliance standards and ensure site compliance with regulatory agencies USDA.
  • Complete production plan by coordinating work schedule and personnel assignment, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and resolving problems.
  • Maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with all departments towards continuous plant improvements.
  • Monitor inventories to ensure uninterrupted
  • Ensure that employees receive proper job training.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating and recommending new equipment and techniques.
  • Read and write process flow charts, write, update, and follow standard operating

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in USDA manufacturing facility, which includes managing teams and processes OR sufficient on the job experience in similarly regulated environment
  • Microbiological and/or Immunological expertise preferred
  • Biologics Manufacturing and Testing
  • Knowledge of USDA requirements for manufacturing
  • Ability to read and understand process flow
  • Ability to read, write, and handle basic and complete math
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and excellent team-building
  • Basic computer knowledge including MS 365 programs.
  • Must be detail oriented and good time management
  • Excellent problem solving skills and strong financial
  • Ability to lead teams and foster collaboration
  • Demonstrated integrity and honesty in all aspects
