JOB SUMMARY
Plan, direct, or coordinate quality assurance programs and quality inspection resources. Creates quality control policies (internal / external) and oversees the development of quality standards and protocols for quality assurance. Manages operational execution for ISO9001:2015 compliance. Assists in the design and implementation of policies, procedures, execution for testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or equipment. Supports warranty complaint investigation and containment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in a ISO9001:2015 regulated company
2+ years hands-on experience administering a ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System
2+ years experience in a leadership capacity
Heavy Industrial Equipment / Custom Manufacturing experience preferred.
B.S in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, M.S preferred.

Anticipated salary range for this position: $97,000/yr to $134,860/yr. The anticipated salary range is what we believe to be the likely base salary range for this position at the time of posting. Actual salary for this position will depend on relevant qualifications, skills, and experience

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confer with marketing and sales departments to define client requirements and expectations.
- Communicate quality control information to all relevant organizational departments, outside vendors, or contractors.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing organization and SQE on the Supplier Qualification of all new and existing suppliers.
- Instruct vendors or contractors on quality guidelines, testing procedures, or ways to eliminate deficiencies.
- Verify that raw materials, purchased parts or components, in-process samples, and finished products meet established testing and inspection standards.
- Direct the tracking of defects, test results, or other regularly reported quality control data.
- Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff.
- Establish and lead processes regarding nonconformance of products or processes, production quality, root cause analyses and quality trends. Generate reports accordingly.
- Prepare Organization for ISO audits, Maintain Quality System for ISO compliance and address non-conformities from previous audits.
- Support the Warranty team, who is responsible for creation of cases for customer complaints, root cause analysis, customer relationship, and disposition of returned goods.
- Assist with conducting a management review of the quality system at defined intervals.
- Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Identify quality problems, areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Review quality documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections.
- Review standard operating procedures or quality assurance manuals and coordinate updates with functional leaders.
- Coordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment, such as inspection gauges. Oversees established calibration and testing program.
- Generate and maintain quality control operating budgets.
- Ensure appropriate quality assurance related training is in place.
- Review statistical studies, technological advances, or regulatory standards and trends to stay abreast of issues in the field of quality control.
- May perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisor, including quality related projects as directed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Must be able to read/interpret/understand technical engineering drawings and symbols (i.e. Blueprints and GD&T)
- Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite and ERP programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, SAP etc.)
- Must have strong interpersonal communications skills.

- Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
