Overview:
The Director of Partnerships & Events will be a key role within the Marketing & Communications team to identify and champion brand partnerships that will further the image strength and desire for the brand. This person will be instrumental in partnering with the global team and other internal stakeholders to ensure that opportunities are presented and executed seamlessly for North America. They should have a creative mindset and an acute ability to assess opportunities that are aligned with the brand values.

The hiring range for this position ranges from $180,000 - $200,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates' relevant skills and experience. Management is also eligible for bonus.

Key Accountabilities:
- Identify new brand partnerships that will further the brand image and desirability of the brand. Negotiate agreements and value that is demonstrative of the contribution to the brand image.
- Co-ordinate and execute image based events and exhibitions that will support traffic driving initiatives, fueling press strategy and supporting the overall needs of the North America business
- Negotiate the greatest value from existing agreements and partner with the global team on the execution of these activations and events 20 Critical Necessary
- Manage and mentor a team to deliver outcomes that are an excellent representation of the standard of a luxury brand. Inspire and motivate with a can-do attitude to lead projects
- Partner with the Communications Director to identify opportunities and determine what will yield the best result for brand image communications
- Liaise with the Global team to determine upcoming project needs and determine the ability to execute in the local market
- Source and manage production companies, agencies and vendors to ensure they are meeting the specific design direction and guidelines that are in line with Tiffany's strategy, brand, image & budget
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing/partnerships and/or event management
- Experience in luxury or retail (fashion, jewelry, auto or tech)
- Have a finger on the pulse of trends, influencers, art, music, food and fashion
- Experience and cultural understanding of global markets and event practices oversees in the luxury market
- Experience mentoring and managing team members who are highly motivated and hard working
- Ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis
- Comfortable with managing budgets
- Must be detail oriented, team player, self-starter and able to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Some travel involved
