ILAC Testing Centre is looking for individuals with the pre-requisites to be trained as IELTS Speaking Examiners for our team. Examiners conduct and assess face-to-face, in-person speaking interviews with IELTS test takers.
Pre-requisites:
An English level equivalent to Band 9 IELTS
An undergraduate degree
A recognized qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
At least 3 years full-time (or the equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (classroom not tutoring)
The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.
Applicants must be willing to work at locations transit-accessible locations across Toronto.
Training is free for successful applicants who are willing to make a minimum 2-year commitment to ILAC IELTS Testing.
Test sessions run 7-days per week and Examiners are expected to be available for at least 2 Saturday shifts per month plus other dates as preferred. Pay rates are $45-$60 per hour.
Intensive training seminars and certification session for the speaking module will be held the week beginning April 14th 2025.
