Position Summary
The University of Georgia's Terry College of Business seeks an innovative and strategic leader to serve as the Director of our Entrepreneurship Program. The Entrepreneurship Program is housed in the Terry College of Business and serves students across the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the University of Georgia. The expected start date for this position is August 1, 2025.
The Director will oversee all academic programs and operational, logistical, and external aspects of the Entrepreneurship Program, including managing personnel and budgets. The Director will also collaborate with partners across campus, alumni, and industry leaders to ensure high-quality programs and rewarding learning environments and lead the creation and implementation of impactful entrepreneurship initiatives.
The mission of the Entrepreneurship Program is to infuse and refine an entrepreneurial mindset in students across the University through transformational experiences and comprehensive academic courses. The overall focus is to provide programming based on academic, experiential, and economic development. The Entrepreneurship Program offers a highly successful academic certificate. It also oversees several accelerators, pitch competitions, the Georgia Kickstart Fund, and the Georgia Bulldog Angel Network (see https://www.terry.uga.edu/entrepreneurship/ for more information). Faculty also lead study abroad and study away opportunities for students to discover how international innovation hubs compare to entrepreneurial ecosystems in the United States.
This is a non-tenure track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Principal Lecturer. Instructional duties include teaching two Entrepreneurship or related courses each regular (fall and spring) semester.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification
Candidates for the position should also possess significant and recent entrepreneurial accomplishmentsin areas such as venture creation, business development/ growth, social or non-profit entrepreneurship, or entrepreneurial finance.
Applicants should also have a background that includes managing teams.
Candidates with a history of teaching in business-related areas in higher education are preferred. Internal applicants may be eligible to retain rank on appointment.
