Description:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Clinical Operations to lead our mental health program serving senior patients in assisted living communities. This role provides executive-level clinical oversight and operational leadership, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, compliant, and ethical mental health services tailored to the needs of older adults.

We are looking for an innovative leader who is passionate about improving senior mental health and committed to evolving and scaling the program to meet the changing needs of residents and communities. The Director will oversee clinical operations, staff development, compliance, and quality assurance while collaborating closely with regional teams and organizational leadership to ensure the program's success and growth.

Strategic Clinical Oversight:
    • Lead clinical operations, ensuring consistency in care delivery and adherence to organizational standards.
    • Guide the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that enhance clinical quality and program reach.


Program Development & Innovation:
    • Drive the ongoing evolution and expansion of the senior mental health program to better meet community and resident needs.
    • Introduce and champion innovative approaches to care delivery within assisted living settings.


Leadership & Staff Development:
    • Collaborate with team to promote growth, manage and mentor Regional Clinical Directors and other clinical leaders.
    • Collaborate with the recruitment team to oversee the hiring, onboarding, and training of clinical staff organization-wide.
    • Be present onsite for Day 1 training of all new clinical hires to ensure alignment with clinical standards, culture, and expectations.
    • Foster a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and professional development.


Compliance & Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure full regulatory compliance with Medicare, HIPAA, and state-level behavioral health standards.
    • Lead clinical documentation reviews, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Site Engagement & Support:
    • Provide oversight and support to assisted living communities to evaluate clinical services and strengthen local team success.
    • Build and maintain strong partnerships with community leaders and facility administrators.
    • Treat patients, supervise and provide support to clinical staff to align with clinical needs for each site.


Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Use clinical and operational data to assess outcomes, improve efficiency, and inform strategic decisions.
    • Provide regular performance updates and strategic insights to the COO and senior leadership.


Qualifications:
    • Licensed mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, PsyD, PhD, LMFT, or LPC) in good standing
    • 7+ years of progressive clinical leadership experience, including 3+ years in multi-site or regional oversight roles
    • Proven experience working with senior populations and managing mental health programs in assisted living or similar settings
    • Strong working knowledge of Medicare regulations and behavioral health compliance
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities
