About The Opportunity
Position Summary
The Business Transformation Project Manager will oversee and manage Strategic projects, supporting the Engineering team on Capital projects, Customer transition & Systems Integration projects, Continuous Improvement team's key initiatives. Additionally improving existing processes, ensuring all projects are carried out successfully.
Essential Job Function

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Key contributor in developing a project management office and processes for business-led strategic projects.
  • Lead strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring projects are achieving goals, timeline, scope and budget targets.
  • Collaborate with various teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Responsible for overseeing multiple strategic projects and providing monthly project status updates.
  • Provide feedback and critical action needed to project owners and champions to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Act as a stimulus for positive change, ensuring the company stays flexible and competitive in a changing market.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress. Ensure resource availability and allocation. Report and escalate to leadership as needed.
  • Coordinate and lead customer meetings around customer transition and systems integration
  • Manage project documentation to include project status updates (frequency determined by project) and post-project checks to ensure the quality of deliverables and adherence to guidelines.
  • Ensure project team is following and using standard project management tools.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement while managing strategic projects.
  • Managing and building relationships and project skills within project team and associated stakeholders.
  • Responsible for corporate level Project Management training materials, training curriculum and facilitating annual training sessions.
  • Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certification in Project Management
  • 5+ years prior project management and leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft tools, specifically MS Project and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated leadership of large-scale projects and project management processes
  • Detailed understanding of business processes and how to improve them
  • Demonstrated competency in problem solving and continuous improvement tools.
  • Proven work experience managing projects to successful achievement of goals with cross-functional teams.
  • "Hands-on" leadership style

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily works in an office & production environment.
  • Occasional travel required
