Role Overview

BGB Group is seeking a Performance Analyst to drive data-driven insights and optimize marketing and engagement strategies. This role focuses on analyzing key performance metrics across digital, omnichannel, and media initiatives to inform strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in translating complex data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.

The Performance Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders-including strategy, media, creative, and technology teams-to assess campaign effectiveness, measure engagement trends, and recommend optimizations. This role is critical in ensuring that BGB's marketing efforts deliver maximum impact and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Measurement & Data Analysis
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across marketing channels, including digital, paid media, CRM, and omnichannel campaigns.
  • Utilize data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, SQL, Python, R) to uncover trends, insights, and performance gaps.
  • Develop and track performance dashboards to visualize data and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct A/B testing, attribution modeling, and forecasting to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Evaluate promotional efforts to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and return on investment (ROI).

Strategic Insights & Optimization
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve engagement, conversion rates, and customer retention.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, compelling insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work closely with media and strategy teams to refine targeting, audience segmentation, and personalization strategies.
  • Support predictive modeling efforts to forecast campaign success and optimize marketing spend.

Collaboration & Reporting
  • Present performance reports and insights to internal teams and clients, ensuring clarity and actionable takeaways.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to ensure data-informed decisions guide content strategy.
  • Partner with developers and technology teams to improve data collection, analytics infrastructure, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure alignment between performance analysis and overall business objectives.

Process & Technology Enablement
  • Implement best practices for data governance, validation, and standardization.
  • Identify and integrate new data sources to enhance performance tracking and optimization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging analytics tools, and marketing measurement methodologies.
  • Continuously refine and enhance reporting processes to provide deeper insights.


Qualifications & Skills

Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in performance analytics, marketing analytics, business intelligence, or a related role.
  • Proven experience working with marketing data, campaign measurement, and digital analytics tools.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharma, or a regulated industry is a plus.

Technical & Functional Skills
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or other data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing KPIs, customer journey analytics, and media performance tracking.
  • Experience with A/B testing, attribution models, and predictive analytics.
  • Ability to extract, manipulate, and visualize data from multiple platforms.

Soft Skills & Leadership
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with teams across creative, strategy, and media.


Salary Range: $70,000-$95,000

The salary range provided is for the Kansas City, MO hybrid position, which requires occasional in-office presence, and represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. For candidates in other locations, salary will be adjusted to reflect local market rates. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
