About the Project
This will be a 1-year contract. We are developing a set of Microsoft Office Add-ins (Word and PowerPoint) to facilitate the creation of knowledge resources and training materials, focusing on energy efficiency. These add-ins will accelerate the development and dissemination of training materials tailored to energy compliance tiers in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement robust, user-friendly add-ins for Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and tests.
Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the add-ins.
Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of full-stack development experience.
Strong programming/coding fundamentals with proficiency in JavaScript.
Expertise in Node.js and PostgreSQL for backend development.
Expertise in Vue.js and Vuetify for frontend development.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office APIs and developing Office Add-ins.
Familiarity with modern software development practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD, Agile methodologies).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in a startup environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
